Finally, some decent weather.

Last weekend, we also finally got out on the boat again.  Ellie and Quinn were big helpers as both Ben and Curt tried out wakeboarding again.  Ellie also showed off new levels of fearlessness at the pool!

Japanese Garden

A week ago Friday, we went to the Japanese Garden with Nommy (Grammy) and Auntie Hude (Judy).  It was a beautiful place to take some photos of my beautiful girl and her new purse (which matches Nommy's new purse - thanks, Hude!).  Ellie also had a very important (pretend) call during our visit..

MN Trip

Finally, Ellie got to visit the cabin where I spent so many weekends when I was growing up.  Our visit was made even more complete with DQ on the way to Alexandria, her first catch (and second, and third), as well as some mini-golf, bumper boating, and go-karting.  We also celebrated grandpa's 79th birthday at the hospital where he was getting treatment for blood clots.  Ellie was a big help at the hospital, making sure we pushed the right buttons on the elevator and used all possible hand sanitizers.  She also drew lots of pictures to decorate the room.  She is a real sweetheart, plain and simple.

 

 

 

The day Mia was born

Just about 4 weeks ago (wow!), little miss Mia was born.  I still have a few more photos to share... of how we spent the day at the Museum of Danish Design, finding fun and beautiful things to admire (including the rehearsal of a play (in Danish) that Ellie was enthralled by)... until we finally got THE TEXT that it was a girl and we could come see her in a bit!  Enjoy these last wonderful photos (next up: MN photos).
