An enormous (if slightly late) welcome to Baby Quinn!

Quinn is beautiful and sweet and we're so glad she's here!*

Ellie's been obsessed for months. Quinn's actual arrival only makes things more exciting.

*She's already WAY bigger than in these pictures.

Minnesota '10

Okay, so we're a few weeks late. And we did a lousy job taking pictures. And the ones we did take aren't exactly hi-def.

But hey, we had a great time and wanted to share the fun.

Apologies to everyone who's not pictured. Like I said, we did a lousy job on the documentation front.

On the ferry

The views were also beautiful

Rainy day fun

We went and watched planes take off at the Orcas airport. Then I made this little movie on my new phone. Pretty cool on both counts.

Multitasking*

We're working on our reading skills and doing an impromptu experiment involving static electricity.

*Not pictured, solving quadratic equations and composing a beautiful poem in our head.

It was a banner day in Eleanor Land

Today was pretty darn exciting for little Miss Ellie.

Things started with breakfast with Grammy, Poppy and Aunty "Dirty."

Next up was a new safety helmet (pics coming soon) for trike time that could have been a hit or a disaster. Fortunately it was a hit.

Then it was time for a haircut and lunch at U-Village.

And the awesome just kept coming.

See, Ellie's been wanting a "peter" like mom and dad use for work. And today Min managed to find a great toy computer. When Ellie woke up from her nap, she found it sitting at desk (nee table) and proceeded to spend most of the rest of the night profusely thanking mom and talking at a million miles an hour about how much she LOVED it.

Then Ellie got to use chalk on her easel and transformed from computer geek to art machine. She was pretty much on fire/completely covered in chalk dust.

Good day to be a kid.

Reunited and it feels so good...

Aunt Julie's back from Copenhagen!

Uncle E, we can't wait to see you too. Hurry home!
