We squeezed in a bit more fun in October by finishing off the month with a trip to MN.  Thanks to everyone for making time (and space) for us!

We got up very early on Halloween to catch a plane back to Seattle.  Ellie was very excited to wear her costume at the airport and on the plane!

Soccer girls

Ellie and Harper go to soccer together on Thursdays.  Soccer is at Magnuson Park, on the shores of Lake Washington, so we took a walk around the beach one day.  It was a short walk due to the massive quantity of goose poop ;-)

Did I mention Mino, Jeremy, Leila, and Savannah came to visit us like a month ago?

Happy Birthday, Daddy!

Here are some photos from our pumpkin-carving day yesterday.  We've been busy decorating and getting ready for Halloween, as well as celebrating all the October birthdays in our fam!  Happy birthday to Aunt Julie, Nommy, Aunt Judy, and today .... to Daddy!

RaRa (Robin) was in town and went to the ballet with us to see Cinderella.

The performance was a bit longer than we expected (two intermissions?!) but Ellie did a mostly great job of staying in her seat.

Then we met up with a bunch of the other ladies in our family and had a fabulous dinner out on a patio.  Mia did a great job of hanging out and eventually falling asleep.

On Sunday, I finally got to hold her again.  Looks like she still likes me!

On Friday night, Ben got to meet Mia for the first time.  I think they like each other.

Puyallup Fair

Ellie had a couple of days off from school last week, so on Tuesday, we went to the Puyallup Fair.  We saw a few animals, saw a horse show, rode a few rides, had a few treats. It was 87 degrees when we left and quite possibly the last day of summer...

Apple Pressing

Also a couple weeks ago, we went out to Amy's parents' place for a good old fashioned apple pressing.  Ellie had a great time playing in the playhouse with friends (Quinn, Cameron and Alex).  We also squeezed some apples and made some juice!

Back-to-School Girl

On Tuesday, Ellie started her pre-k school year at the JCC. She's in a new classroom with new-ish teachers and a lot of new friends.  Her classroom is named "Kavanah" which means "intention."
