Some shots from Ethan's Heart Run
It was a bittersweet day down at Seward Park. Lots of fun had by all, but an all-too sad reason for being there.
Great turnout with almost 150 people running and walking (and being strolled). The even better news is that Ian and Megon raised a ton of money for Children's Hospital!
A really wonderful event and we look forward to being there next year...

A great cause
If you're looking for something to do this weekend that's actually positive (instead of what you usually do*), I have a great idea.
Come join Min, Ellie and me at Seward Park on Saturday the 26th for Ethan's Heart Run.**
As many of you know, last fall our friends Ian and Megon tragically lost one of their newborn twin sons to a very rare heart disease.
Ethan's Run is a chance to come together to remember and honor Ethan. It's also a chance to raise money in Ethan's memory for Children's Hospital here in Seattle.
Hope to see you there. And if you can't make it, feel free to make a pledge with Ellie as your runner.***
Here's all the info on the event.
*Yes, I'm talking to you.
**/walk/stroll/ride/tricycle/toddle
***I'd say it's pretty good odds she wins this thing.****
****Except for the fact that it's not really a competition.

Hip hip hooray!
Auntie Julie called last night to let us know that she and (previously-unofficially-termed) Uncle Eric are engaged!
It's wonderful news and we can't wait to celebrate when they get here later this month.
We couldn't be more excited for them. Especially Ellie who's already practicing her ring bearing...
