One more museum down

Ellie had a great time at the Museum of Flight.

Though it should be noted she was far more interested in the assorted stairways and buttons than the actual machines of flight.

Is there a museum of stairs?

Or buttons?

Somebody REALLY likes merry-go-rounds

Oh, and Eleanor enjoyed it too.

It only looks like a piggy-back ride

Close examination reveals it to be a giraffe-back ride.

Rhythm girl

So mom cleaned out the attic this weekend and that meant Eleanor could enjoy a little quality time with my drums.

She's now played them more than I have in the previous 15 months.

And yes, I know the ______-girl construct is getting a little tired. Sorry.

Underwater girl

Ellie, Min and I went to Aquarium this weekend and had an awesome time. I used to love going there as a kid when we visited family here in Seattle. In the many years since, the Seattle Aquarium has gone from damp, dingy and kind of tired (but great for kids) to modern, bright, clean and pretty amazing (and still great for kids).

Eleanor loved all the fish and seals and otters and toddler-focused activities.

Oh and lunch at the Aquarium Cafe.*

Oh and the jellyfish and octopus cutouts.

Oh and the jellyfish and octopus cutouts.

Oh and the jellyfish and octopus cutouts.

Oh and the jellyfish and octopus cutouts.

Seriously, she got a little obsessed.

We had such a good time that we signed up for a membership. Can't wait to go back!

Any takers..?

*She had Baby Seal and Chips.

Monkey Girl 1, Halloween 0

Ellie dominated Halloween thoroughly.

She came.

She saw.

She received candy.

She leaned over.

She didn't rip off her costume.

She remained awesome.
