European Vacation

Hi all,

We are going to post more photos than usual, and not just photos of our Ellie, so that you can see some of our trip adventures.  First up, first day (1.5 days?!) in Reykjavik, Iceland!

Kids Dash 2012

On Sunday, Ellie (and Ben) completed her first Kids Dash.  It was at nearby Green Lake.  She ran the entire 1k race!  I cheered them on at the finish line, and then Ellie picked up her celebratory Top Pot doughnut!

Seattle Adventure

Ellie and I headed out for a little post-cholecystectomy fun in the big city yesterday.  The Space Needle is celebrating its 50th Birthday (1962 World's Fair) and has been painted "Galaxy Gold".  Ellie and I took the monorail (also 50 years old, I suppose) to Pike Place Market and had lunch. Then we monorailed back to the Space Needle and looked out from the observation deck.  Can't beat the view, especially of our gorgeous girl.

Ellie Loves Her Cousin

Julie flew back to Copenhagen last Friday.  Ellie's quotes: "I just can't stop kissing you!" and "You're very special to me, and when you have Little Shiz*, even if it's a boy, he will be very special to me, too."

Baby Cousin is due mid-June!

A Visit from the Chasans

Matt and Heidi and Ellery (5) and Max and Sam (3) came to Seattle for a visit a couple weeks ago. We did lots of fun things and they were the subjects of many photographs!

Yoga Girl

Ellie started yoga classes in March and she likes to do yoga at home, too...

At Aunt Julie's Baby Shower

Ellie and Anya (Julie's other niece) delivered the presents to Julie and watched her open each one. Ellie got the baby a "teeny tiny" blankie just like hers, and then had to get her own blankie to show everyone.
